Indian Mouse Deer..!
Here is an interesting article about India's smallest species of deer, the Indian Mouse deer ! It is a very timid and nocturnal creature and difficult to spot in the wild. Its habitat is mainly the Western Ghats and the Eastern Ghats up to Orissa and the Central India. In the extreme south Kalakad-Mundanthurai may respresent a major population stronghold.
