IAF crashes in Rajasthan
Barmer (Rajasthan): A MiG-27 fighter aircraft of the Indian Air Force Tuesday 27th
January 2015, crashed here but the pilot ejected safely.
However, it was not immediately known if there was any casualty.
Air Force sources said the crash occurred at about 1510 hours.
The pilot ejected safely, a defence spokesperson said in New Delhi.
The aircraft, which is used for ground attack purposes, took off from Jodhpur airbase and was on its way to Uttarlai air force station in Rajasthan.
