ಟಾಟಾ ಸಮೂಹಕ್ಕೆ ಮರಳುವ ಇಚ್ಛೆ ಇಲ್ಲ: ಸೈರಸ್ ಮಿಸ್ತ್ರಿ ಘೋಷಣೆ

ನವದೆಹಲಿ: ಟಾಟಾ ಸನ್ಸ್ ಸಮೂಹದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕಾರಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಕಂಪೆನಿ ಕಾನೂನು ಮೇಲ್ಮನವಿ ನ್ಯಾಯಮಂಡಳಿಯಿಂದ (ಎನ್‌ಸಿಎಲ್ ಎಟಿ) ಪುನಃಸ್ಥಾಪನೆಗೊಂಡಿರುವ ಸೈರಸ್ ಮಿಸ್ತ್ರಿ ಅವರು ’ಟಾಟಾ ಸನ್ಸ್ ಸಮೂಹಕ್ಕೆ ಮರಳುವ ಇಚ್ಛೆ ನನಗೆ ಇಲ್ಲ’ ಎಂದು 2020 ಜನವರಿ 05ರ ಭಾನುವಾರ  ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿದರು.

’ಟಾಟಾ ಅವರ ಪೂರ್ವಾಗ್ರಹ ವರ್ತನೆಯನ್ನು ಎನ್‌ಸಿಎಲ್‌ಎಟಿ ಗುರುತಿಸಿರುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನಾನು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ವಿನೀತನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ’ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

‘ತನ್ನ ಮುಂದಿದ್ದ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳ ರಾಶಿಯ ವಿಮರ್ಶೆಯ ಬಳಿಕ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಕ್ರಮವಾಗಿ ಕಿತ್ತು ಹಾಕಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಟಾಟಾ ಮತ್ತು ಇತರ ಟ್ರಸ್ತಿಗಳ ದಮಕಾರೀ ಮತ್ತು ಪೂರ್ವಾಗ್ರಹದ ವರ್ತನೆಯನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿದ ಎನ್‌ಸಿಎಲ್‌ಎಟಿಯ ಅದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ನಾನು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ವಿನೀತನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ’ ಎಂದು ಮಿಸ್ತ್ರಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಉಲ್ಲೇಖಿಸಿ ಸುದ್ದಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ವರದಿ ಮಾಡಿತು.

ಸೈರಸ್ ಮಿಸ್ತ್ರಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಎನ್‌ಸಿಎಲ್‌ಎಟಿಯು ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ ೧೮ರಂದು ಟಾಟಾ ಸನ್ಸ್ ಸಮೂಹದ ಕಾರ್‍ಯಕಾರಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರನ್ನಾಗಿ ಪುನಃಸ್ಥಾಪನೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಆದೇಶ ನೀಡಿತ್ತು. ಮಿಸ್ತ್ರ್ರಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಮೂಹದಿಂದ ಮೂರು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ವಜಾಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ’ಮಿಸ್ತ್ರಿ  ವಿರುದ್ಧದ ರತನ್ ಟಾಟಾ ಅವರ ಕ್ರಮಗಳು ದಮನಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದವು ಮತ್ತು ನೂತನ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷನ ನೇಮಕಾತಿಯು ಅಕ್ರಮ’ ಎಂದು ನ್ಯಾಯಮಂಡಳಿಯು ತನ್ನ ಆದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿತ್ತು.

ಟಾಟಾ ಕನಸಲ್ಟೆನ್ಸಿ ಸರ್ವೀಸಸ್ (ಟಿಸಿಎಸ್) ಮಿಸ್ತ್ರಿ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಎನ್ಸಿಎಲ್‌ಎಟಿ ನೀಡಿದ ಆದೇಶದ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಶುಕ್ರವಾರ ಸುಪ್ರೀಂಕೋರ್ಟ್ ಮೆಟ್ಟಿಲೇರಿತ್ತು.

‘ಟಾಟಾ ಸಮೂಹದ ಒಟ್ಟಾರೆ ಹಿತಾಸಕ್ತಿ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಿಂದ ನಾನು ನಿರ್ಧಾರ ಕೈಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಯಾವುದೇ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಿಂತ ಸಮೂಹದ ಹಿತಾಸಕ್ತಿಗಳು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಮಹತ್ವವಾದವುಗಳು’ ಎಂದು ಮಿಸ್ತ್ರಿ ಭಾನುವಾರ ಸಂಜೆ ಹೇಳಿದರು.

‘ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಅಪಪ್ರಚಾರಕ್ಕೆ ತೆರೆ ಎಳೆಯುವ ಸಲವಾಗಿ, ಎನ್‌ಸಿಎಲ್‌ಎಟಿ ಆದೇಶವು ನನ್ನ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಇರುವುದರ ಹೊರತಾಗಿಯೂ ನಾನು ಟಾಟಾ ಸನ್ಸ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಕಾರಿ  ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಸ್ಥಾನವನ್ನು ಅಥವಾ ಟಿಸಿಎಸ್, ಟಾಟಾ ಟೆಲಿ ಸರ್ವೀಸ್, ಟಾಟಾ ಇಂಡಸ್ಟ್ರೀಸ್‌ನ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಸ್ಥಾನವನ್ನು ವಹಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂಬುದಾಗಿ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟ ಪಡಿಸಬಯಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ, ಮಂಡಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಅಲ್ಪಸಂಖ್ಯಾತ ಷೇರುದಾರರ ಹಕ್ಕುಗಳ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆಗಾಗಿ ಎಲ್ಲ ಆಯ್ಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಕ್ತವಾಗಿ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ನಾನು ಹೋರಾಡುವೆ’ ಎಂದು ಮಿಸ್ತ್ರಿ ನುಡಿದರು.

ನ್ಯಾಯಮಂಡಳಿಯ ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ ೧೮ರ ತೀರ್ಪಿನ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ರತನ್ ಟಾಟಾ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಡಾ ಶುಕ್ರವಾರ ಸುಪ್ರೀಂಕೋರ್ಟ್ ಮೆಟ್ಟಿಲೇರಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಮಿಸ್ತ್ರಿ ಅವರು ಟಾಟಾ ಸನ್ಸ್ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಬಳಿಕವೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಕೌಟುಂಬಿಕ ವ್ಯವಹಾರದಿಂದ ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತಾವು ಹೊರತುಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಸಿದ್ಧರಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಇದು ಹಿತಾಸಕ್ತಿಗಳ ಘರ್ಷಣೆಗೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿತ್ತು ಎಂದು ಟಾಟಾ ಸಮೂಹ ಆಪಾದಿಸಿತ್ತು.

Mumbai :  Tata Sons on Thursday, 12^th January 2017 named TCS Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Natarajan Chandrasekaran as its new Chairman over two months after the unceremonious sacking of Cyrus Mistry.

Popularly known as 'Chandra', the 54-year-old was chosen to step into the shoes of interim Chairman Ratan Tata, who took over on October 24 last year after the removal of Mistry.

The decision to appoint Chandra, a Tata group veteran, was taken at a meeting of Tata Sons board here, sources said.

The decision followed a five-member search committee comprising Ratan Tata, TVS Group head Venu Srinivasan, Amit Chandra of Bain Capital, former diplomat Ronen Sen and Lord Kumar Bhattacharya zeroing in on Chandrasekaran..

Newly-appointed Tata Sons Chairman Natarajan Chandrasekaran said on that leading a group like Tata is a huge responsibility and his aim will be to help progress the conglomeratre.

Stating that the Tata group is at an inflection point, Chandrasekaran said that the progress of the group will be achieved "with the ethos, ethics and values that the Tata group has been built on".

New Delhi: Noted industrialist Ratan Tata on Friday, 23^rd December 2016, broke his silence on the ongoing feud with Cyrus Mistry and said there was a definite move to damage his personal reputation over the last two months.

He, however, hailed that truth will prevail in the end whatever the process may be and however painful it may be. He said the attacks on him and Tata Group were unsubstantiated and very painful, in direct references to all the allegations and charges fired at by ousted chairman of the company, Cyrus Mistry and Nusli Wadia.

Ever since Cyrus Mistry was ousted as the Chairman of Tata Sons and Ratan Tata appointed as interim boss, the battle between the two sides have seen allegations and charges.

Misty has vowed to continue his fight against Ratan Tata even moving the National Company Law Tribunal charging the interim boss of weak governance and oppression.

The ousted chairman also said there was no chances of truce with Ratan Tata nor the company. Instead, the ousted Tata Group Chairman vowed to continue his fight against Ratan Tata stating that his fight is for larger issue of governance.

"The Group has been there for 150 years. It has been based on governance, fair play," Tata said. "I think the truth will prevail, whatever the process may be, however painful it may be."

"The truth will prevail and the systems in our country will govern," he said thanking shareholders for their support.

Nusli Wadia of Wadia Group was also sacked by the firms of Tata Group from the board of directors on charges that he was supporting Mistry. In the fight against Tatas, Wadia had earlier filed a defamation case against Ratan Tata and the company, reportedly seeking Rs 3000 crore in damages.

Earlier today, Wadia filed criminal defamation case against Ratan Tata, directors of Tata sons following his unceremonious removal from the board of both Tata Steel and Tata Sons.
