ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು: ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದ ಭಾಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ತಾವು ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಹೋರಾಟವನ್ನು ವರ್ಗೀಕರಿಸಿದ್ದುದಾಗಿ  2020 ಫೆಬ್ರುವರಿ 04ರ ಮಂಗಳವಾರ  ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟ ಪಡಿಸಿರುವ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಮಾಜಿ ಸಚಿವ, ಹಿರಿಯ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ನಾಯಕ ಅನಂತಕುಮಾರ ಹೆಗಡೆ ಅವರು ’ಭಾಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ತಾವು ಮಹಾತ್ಮ ಗಾಂಧಿ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲೂ ಉಲ್ಲೇಖಿಸಿಲ್ಲ’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

‘ಕೆಲವರು ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದುದು ಬ್ರಿಟಿಷರ ಜೊತೆಗಿನ ಹೊಂದಾಣಿಕೆಯ ಹೋರಾಟ, ಉಪವಾಸಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆದರಿ ಬ್ರಿಟಿಷರು ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ ಕೊಟ್ಟದ್ದಲ್ಲ’ ಎಂಬ ತಮ್ಮ ಹೇಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಗಾಂಧೀಜಿ ಕುರಿತಾದದ್ದು ಎಂಬುದಾಗಿ ವಾದಿಸಿ ಚರ್ಚೆಗಳು ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ  ಸುದ್ದಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಒಂದರ ಜೊತೆ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಸಂಸತ್ ಸದಸ್ಯ ಹೆಗಡೆ ಈ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟನೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.

‘ನನ್ನ ಭಾಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಯಾವುದೇ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಪಕ್ಷವನ್ನಾಗಲಿ, ಮಹಾತ್ಮ ಗಾಂಧೀಜಿ ಅವರನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಅಥವಾ ಯಾವುದೇ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಉಲ್ಲೇಖಿಸಿಲ್ಲ. ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಹೋರಾಟದ ಬಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಾನು ವರ್ಗೀಕರಣ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೆ’ ಎಂದು ಹೆಗಡೆ ಹೇಳಿದರು.

‘ನಾನು ಅಂದು ಏನು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ್ದೆ ಎಂಬುದು ಎಲ್ಲೆಡೆ ಲಭ್ಯವಿದೆ. ನನ್ನ ವೆಬ್ ಸೈಟಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇದೆ. ಅಂದಿನ ಭಾಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಗಾಂಧೀಜಿ ಅವರನ್ನಾಗಲಿ, ನೆಹರೂ ಅವರನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಟೀಕಿಸಿಲ್ಲ. ದೇಶದ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಹೋರಾಟದ ಕುರಿತು ಚರ್ಚೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೆ’ ಎಂದು ಅನಂತಕುಮಾರ ಹೇಳಿದರು.

‘ನನ್ನ ಹೇಳಿಕೆ ಕುರಿತಂತೆ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುತ್ತಿರುವ ವರದಿಗಳು, ವಿಶ್ಲೇಷಣೆಗಳೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಸುಳ್ಳು. ಈಗ ಚರ್ಚೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವಂತೆ ನಾನು ಏನನ್ನೂ ಹೇಳಿಲ್ಲ. ಇದು ಅನಗತ್ಯ ವಿವಾದ’ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ನುಡಿದರು.

ಸಮೃದ್ಧ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾವರ್ಕರ್ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಸಂಘವು ಫೆಬ್ರುವರಿ ೧ರ ಶನಿವಾರ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಘಟಿಸಿದ್ದ ’ಮತ್ತೆ ಮತ್ತೆ ಸಾವರ್ಕರ್’ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಅನಂತ ಕುಮಾರ ಹೆಗಡೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ್ದರು.

‘ದೇಶದ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಹೋರಾಟಗಾರರಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರು ವಿಧವಿದೆ. ಚಂದ್ರಶೇಖರ ಆಜಾದ್, ಭಗತ್ ಸಿಂಗ್ ಅವರಂತಹ ಕ್ರಾಂತಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಶಸ್ತ್ರಸಜ್ಜಿತರಾಗಿ ಹೋರಾಟ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ವರ್ಗ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಪ್ರಖರ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ವಿಚಾರಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಶಿವಾಜಿ, ಹುಕ್ಕ-ಬುಕ್ಕರಂತಹ ನೂರಾರು ಮಂದಿಯನ್ನು ಮುಂದೆ ತಂದರು. ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ರೀತಿಯ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಹೋರಾಟಗಾರರು ಹೇಗೆ ಹೋರಾಟ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಬ್ರಿಟಿಷರ ಬಳಿಯೇ ಕೇಳಿ, ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹೊಂದಾಣಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು.
ಒಳಗಡೆ (ಜೈಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ) ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿ ಎಂದು ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಪರಿಣಾಮ ಲಾಠಿ ನೋಡದ, ಏಟು ತಿನ್ನದವರನ್ನು ಇತಿಹಾಸದ ಪುಟಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಹೋರಾಟಗಾರರು ಎಂದು ಬಿಂಬಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಇತಿಹಾಸದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಬ್ರಿಟಿಷರು ಉಪವಾಸಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆದರಿ, ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಓಡಿ ಹೋದರು ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದರೆ ತಣ್ಣಗಿರುವ ರಕ್ತ ಹೆಪ್ಪುಗಟ್ಟುತ್ತದೆ’ ಎಂದು ಅನಂತಕುಮಾರ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದರು.

ಅನಂತಕುಮಾರ ಅವರ ಹೇಳಿಕೆಯು ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಉಪವಾಸ ಸತ್ಯಾಗ್ರಹ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದ ಗಾಂಧೀಜಿ ಅವರ ಹೋರಾಟವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಶ್ನಿಸುವಂತಿದೆ ಎಂಬ ಟೀಕೆ ರಾಜಕೀಯ, ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ವಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ವ್ಯಾಪಕವಾಗಿ ಕೇಳಿ ಬಂದಿತ್ತು.

ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ಗಂಭೀರವಾಗಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡ ಬಿಜೆಪಿಯ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಶಿಸ್ತುಪಾಲನಾ ಸಮಿತಿಯು ಅನಂತಕುಮಾರ ಹೆಗಡೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಈ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಶೋಕಾಸ್ ನೋಟಿಸ್ ಜಾರಿಗೊಳಿಸಿ ವಿವರಣೆ ಕೇಳಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಪಕ್ಷದ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಘಟಕ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ನಳಿನ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಕಟೀಲ್ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದರು.

ನವದೆಹಲಿ: ಮಹಾತ್ಮ ಗಾಂಧೀಜಿ ಬಗೆಗಿನ ತಮ್ಮ ಟೀಕೆಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಬೇಷರತ್ ಕ್ಷಮೆ ಯಾಚಿಸುವಂತೆ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ನಾಯಕ, ಮಾಜಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸಚಿವ ಅನಂತಕುಮಾರ ಹೆಗಡೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಪಕ್ಷದ ವರಿಷ್ಠರು ಸೂಚಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಸುದ್ದಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯೊಂದು ವರದಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು, ಹೆಗಡೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಶೋಕಾಸ್ ನೋಟಿಸ್ ಜಾರಿ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಘಟಕದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ನಳಿನ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಕಟೀಲು 2020 ಫೆಬ್ರುವರಿ 03ರ ಸೋಮವಾರ ದೃಢ ಪಡಿಸಿದರು.

ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪಿತನ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅನಂತಕುಮಾರ ಹೆಗಡೆ ಅವರು ಮಾಡಿರುವ ಟೀಕೆಗೆಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಜನತಾ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಉನ್ನತ ನಾಯಕತ್ವವು , ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ತೀವ್ರ  ಅಸಮಾಧಾನಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಸದೀಯ ಮಂಡಳಿ ಸಭೆಗೆ ಹಾಜರಾಗದಂತೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ವರಿಷ್ಠರು ಸೂಚಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ  ಎಂದು ಸುದ್ದಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯು ಅಪರಿಚಿತ ಮೂಲಗಳನ್ನು ಉಲ್ಲೇಖಿಸಿ ಹೇಳಿತು.

ತಮ್ಮ ವಿವಾದಾತ್ಮಕ ಹೇಳಿಕೆಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಪರಿಚಿತರಾಗಿರುವ ಮಾಜಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸಚಿವರು ಮಹಾತ್ಮ ಗಾಂಧೀಜಿ ನೇತೃತ್ವದ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಹೋರಾಟವನ್ನು ’ನಾಟಕ’ ಎಂಬುದಾಗಿ ಬಣ್ಣಿಸಿದ್ದರು ಮತ್ತು ’ಇಂತಹ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು’ ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ’ಮಹಾತ್ಮ’ ಎಂಬುದಾಗಿ ಕರೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಹೇಗೆ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಶ್ನಿಸಿದ್ದರು.

ಉತ್ರರ ಕನ್ನಡದಿಂದ ಆರು ಬಾರಿ ಲೋಕಸಭಾ ಸದಸ್ಯರಾಗಿರುವ ಅನಂತಕುಮಾರ ಹೆಗಡೆ ಅವರು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಶನಿವಾರ ಸಮಾರಂಭ ಒಂದರಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಷಣ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ’ಇಡೀ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಚಳವಳಿಯೇ ಬ್ರಿಟಿಷರ ಒಪ್ಪಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಬೆಂಬಲದ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ನಡೆದಿತ್ತು’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದರು.

‘ಈ ತಥಾಕಥಿತ ನಾಯಕರಾರನ್ನೂ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಒಮ್ಮೆ ಕೂಡಾ ಥಳಿಸಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವರ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಚಳವಳಿಯು ಒಂದು ದೊಡ್ಡ ನಾಟಕ. ಅದನ್ನು ಈ ನಾಯಕರು ಬ್ರಿಟಿಷರ ಒಪ್ಪಿಗೆಯೊಂದಿಗೇ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದರು. ಅದು ನೈಜ ಹೋರಾಟವಲ್ಲ. ಅದೊಂದು ಹೊಂದಾಣಿಕೆಯ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಹೋರಾಟವಾಗಿತ್ತು’ ಎಂದು ಹೆಗಡೆ ಹೇಳಿದುದಾಗಿ ವರದಿಗಳು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದವು.

ಮಹಾತ್ಮ ಗಾಂಧಿಯವರ ಉಪವಾಸ ಮುಷ್ಕರ ಮತ್ತು ಸತ್ಯಾಗ್ರಹ ಕೂಡಾ ಒಂದು ನಾಟಕವಾಗಿತ್ತು ಎಂದೂ ಹಿರಿಯ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ನಾಯಕ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದರು.

‘ಭಾರತವು ಆಮರಣ ನಿರಶನ ಮತ್ತು ಸತ್ಯಾಗ್ರಹದ ಕಾರಣ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಪಡೆಯಿತು ಎಂದು ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಬೆಂಬಲಿಸುವ ಜನರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಇದು ಸತ್ಯವಲ್ಲ. ಬ್ರಿಟಿಷರು ಭಾರತ ತ್ಯಜಿಸಿದ್ದು ಸತ್ಯಾಗ್ರಹದ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದಲ್ಲ’ ಎಂದು ಹೆಗಡೆ ಹೇಳಿದುದಾಗಿ ವರದಿಗಳು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದವು.

‘ಬ್ರಿಟಿಷರು ಭ್ರಮನಿರಸನಗೊಂಡು ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ನೀಡಿದ್ದರು. ನನಗೆ ಇತಿಹಾಸವನ್ನು ಓದುವಾಗ ರಕ್ತ ಕುದಿಯುತ್ತದೆ. ಇಂತಹ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳು ನಮ್ಮ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಾತ್ಮರಾಗುತ್ತಾರೆ’ ಎಂದು ಹೆಗಡೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಉಲ್ಲೇಖಿಸಿದ ವರದಿಗಳು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದವು.

ಅನಂತ ಕುಮಾರ ಹೆಗಡೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸೋಮವಾರ ತರಾಟೆಗೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್, ’ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಬ್ರಿಟಿಷರ ಚಮಚಾಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಗೂಢಚಾರಿಗಳ ಪಡೆಗಳಿಂದ ಸರ್ಟಿಫಿಕೇಟ್ ಪಡೆಯಬೇಕಾಗಿಲ್ಲ’ ಎಂದು ಎದಿರೇಟು ನೀಡಿತ್ತು.

‘ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಮಹಾತ್ಮ ಗಾಂಧೀಜಿಯವರ ಕಲ್ಪನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮರುಪ್ಯಾಕೇಜ್ ಮಾಡಿ ಅಂತಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸಾರ್ಹತೆಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿಯವರು ಬಿಜೆಪಿಯ ಹಿರಿಯ ನಾಯಕರಾಗಿರುವ ಹೆಗಡೆ ಅವರ ಹೇಳಿಕೆ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಏನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಕಾದಿದ್ದೇನೆ’ ಎಂದು ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ವಕ್ತಾರ ಅಭಿಷೇಕ್ ಮನು ಸಿಂಘ್ವಿ ಟ್ವೀಟ್ ಮಾಡಿದರು.

ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ವಕ್ತಾರ ಜೈವೀರ್ ಶೆರ್ಗಿಲ್ ಅವರು ’ಬಿಜೆಪಿಯನ್ನು ’ನಾಥೂರಾಂ ಗೋಡ್ಸೆ ಪಾರ್ಟಿ’ ಎಂಬುದಾಗಿ ಮರುನಾಮಕರಣ ಮಾಡಲು ಇದು ಸಕಾಲ’ ಎಂದು ಟ್ವೀಟ್ ಮಾಡಿದರು.

‘ಬ್ರಿಟಿಷರ ಚಮಚಾಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಗೂಢಚಾರಿಗಳ ಕೇಡರಿನಿಂದ ಸರ್ಟಿಫಿಕೇಟ್ ಪಡೆಯುವ ಅಗತ್ಯ ಮಹಾತ್ಮ ಗಾಂಧಿಯವರಿಗಿಲ್ಲ’ ಎಂದು ಜೈವೀರ್ ಶೆರ್ಗಿಲ್ ಹೇಳಿದರು.

RBI to release New Lavender Coloured 100 Rupee Note

New Delhi: As part of the Central Bank’s regular exercise, the Reserve Bank of India is set to introduce new Rs 100 denomination banknotes in the Mahatma Gandhi (New) Series shortly.

The new denomination will bear the impression of Gujarat's historic stepwell Rani ki Vav, depicting the country’s cultural heritage. The base colour of the note is Lavender, said the apex bank in a notification on Thursday, 19^th July 2018.

The new Rs 100 note will be smaller than the previous version and slightly bigger than the Rs 10 note, and weight less than the old Rs 100 note.

The printing of the new Rs 100 notes has already begun at the printing press in Dewas with indigenous ink reportedly being used to print the notes.
Banks will have to make changes in ATMs to accommodate the new notes as was the case with new notes of other denominations.

Several new micro-security features have been added to the new Rs 100 note, which will be visible only under ultraviolet light.

New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Wednesday, 28^th   March 2018, dismissed the plea seeking a re-investigation into the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi.

A bench of Justices S.A. Bobde and L. Nageswara Rao, hearing the case, dismissed the petition filed by Mumbai-based Pankaj Phadnis from Abhinav Bharat.

The apex court, which reserved its verdict on March 6, had made it clear that it would not go by “sentiments” but rely on legal submissions to decide on the petition.

The apex court had said the plea seeking retrial of the case was based on academic research but that could not form the basis to reopen the matter which happened years ago.

The petitioner had questioned the ‘three bullet theory’ relied upon by various courts to hold the conviction of Nathuram Godse and Narayan Apte, who were hanged. He had contended that there was need to examine whether there was a fourth bullet, and whether it was fired by someone other than Godse.

Mr. Phadnis, a trustee of charitable trust Abhinav Bharat, had also sought the expunction of “adverse, unfounded” remarks made by the Kapur Commission in 1969 report against Vinayak Damodar Savarkar and the setting up of a commission to probe the conspiracy behind the incident.

Mr. Phadnis alleged that the Maratha community was “maligned” due to these adverse remarks, which should hence be removed. He said there should be a retrial of the case, which led to the conviction and execution of Godse and Apte on November 15, 1949.

The court, however, said it did not share his sentiments that Marathas have been maligned and observed,”Maratha people have survived in spite of all this. You are talking about two persons who happened to be from Maharashtra. They do not represent the state.

Observation about two persons does not malign whole Marathis.”

Mr. Phadnis claimed in his affidavit that the alleged conspirators were hanged even before the murder trial had attained legal finality from the top court.

Gandhi was shot dead at point blank range in New Delhi on January 30, 1948 by Godse, a right-wing advocate of Hindu nationalism. The assassination case had led to the conviction and execution of Godse and Apte on November 15, 1949.

Savarkar was given benefit of doubt due to lack of evidence.

Mr. Phadnis had challenged the decision of the Bombay High Court which on June 6, 2016 had dismissed his plea on two grounds — first, that the findings of fact have been recorded by the competent court and confirmed right up to the apex court; second, that the Kapur Commission had submitted its report and made observations in 1969, while the present petition was filed 46 years later.
