Two Indian Students Die in Fire at Russia
MOSCOW:  Two girl students from India died in a fire accident at University dormetry at Russia on Sunday, 14th February 2016. The news was confirmed by Sushma Swaraj, Minister of External Affairs on Monday, 16th February 2016.

Two victims of a fire at a Smolensk State Medical University dormitory in western Russia were students from India, the Smolensk region department of the Russian Investigative Committee said in a statement Sunday, Sputnic reported.

"According to preliminary reports, ignition occurred at the fourth floor of the six-floor dormitory of 'the Smolensk State Medical University' in the morning on February 14, 2016. Two students from India died in the fire," the statement reads.

The investigators carry out the scene inspection and interview witnesses to the incident, according to the statement.

We've lost 2 Indian girl students (both frm Maharsthra) studying at Smolensk Medical Academy in Russia in a fire accident said  EAM Sushma Swaraj. Some students are injured. They are out of danger. The place is 400 Kms from Moscow. Our team has already reached there, Swaraj said.
