Student collapsed during her repeated
trips for water
in Maharastra
Beed (Maharastra): Class 5th student died of heat
stroke after repeated trips to nearest hand pump in drought-hit Beed,
Maharashtra on Tuesday, 19th April, 2016, ANI reported.
The
student,is a resident of Sablkhed village in drought-hit Beed . She was on her
way to fetch water from a hand pump when she collapsed.
‘Schools
were closed so she went to fetch water in order to help us as we are facing
extreme water scarcity’ Ishwar, uncle of deceased said.
