‘Bastariya Battalion’ to combat Naxalites

Dantewada (Chattisgarh):  In a new move to combat Naxal activities, “Bastariya Battalion’ to be formed comprising only tribal men and woman from Bastar,  DIG CRPF Dantewada range Mr. DP Upadhyaya  said here on Saturday, October 2016.

Training to the members of Battalion will be given by CRPF , he said. They will be provided Pre-test training also, he added.

Candidates who cannot afford much have been given basic facilities, clothing, books. This is done to ensure equal footing for all, he said.

Candidates must be  fit with great stamina and disciplined DIG informed.
