Terror attack in Zakura,1 SSB
Jawan died, 8 injured
Srinagar: In a fresh bid of terror attack on Friday, 14th
October 2016, one SSB jawan lost his life and 8 others injured after terrorists attacked a
SSB patrol party in Zakura in the outskirts of Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir.
After gunfight with terrorist for few hours, search
operation ended said IG SSB Deepak Kumar.
Of the 8 SSB jawans injured, 3-4 are critically injured,
He said.
3 companies of SSB patrol party were returning to camp
from duty when at around 7:30 pm terrorists opened fire on 1 of the vehicle, He
exolained.
Jawans retaliated but couldn't fire aggressively given
the civilian population. 1 jawan lost his life, while 8 others are injured, He
added.
